Join a global manufacturing business in Regional Victoria as their Logistics Manager on a permanent basis, leading logistics operations nationally.

Your new role
In your new role as logistics manager, you'll have full responsibility for the operations team and end-to-end logistics on a national basis. Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
Oversee Strategic planning and resource allocation for organisations transport and logistics division. Provide senior management of the division, supporting your direct reports to be successful in their roles. Develop budgets for resource allocation and maintain cost efficiencies across the division. Report safety, quality, and biosecurity issues promptly, as required in policy and procedure. Follow company policies and procedures including ensuring safety of yourself and others.


What you'll need to succeed. Demonstrated knowledge across logistics operations, warehouse management, transport, freight, and inventory control, with the ability to manage a departmental budget. Proven people management skills, with a track-record of exceptional team leadership and a clear ability to build and mentor high performance teams in a multi-site environment. Demonstrated skills and experience in logistics operations at a senior level, including meeting compliance and safety objectives. 5 years of senior logistics experience preferred. Effective verbal and written skills tailored across all stakeholder groups. Ability to communicate and consult with stakeholders to produce desired business outcomes. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the business operating environment, along with internal and external risks and opportunities. Aim to build positive working relationships that benefit the interests of Organisation.
