About the Role Cooking 100+ covers (with additional staff) 6 - 12 week contract Working within a busy kitchen of 4-5 chefs Modern Australian Chance to run the kitchen on the Head Chef’s days off Menu design & costings Organising team members for meal preparation during Looking after the apprentice & kitchenhands About you If you are trade qualified with three or more years’ experience, and you: · Have demonstrated experience at the same level and/or willingness to step up · Possess a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills · Can produce consistent quality · Have a positive and ‘can do’ attitude · Own traditional uniform and knives · Have experience in quality a la carte dining · Have a keen eye with high attention to detail · Would like to assist with menu planning and suggestions · This is a creative role and provides the right candidate the opportunity to work within an excellent team. · Enjoy the benefits of expanding your experience and knowledge. · Have the experience and knowledge of menu design and costing controls. · Have passion and enthusiasm to motivate a team.
