Position: CookName of the Business: Etna Restaurant Trading Pty Ptd T/A Etna PizzeriaSalary: $58,000.00 to $65,000.00Type: Permanent, Full Time Etna is a dine in newly opened restaurant located in Fortitude Valley in Brisbane, which aims to provide a full authentic Italian gastronomic experience for all our clientele.The restaurant is currently seeking a Cook with at least 2 years of experience in the same role. The ideal candidate will be requested to:  Prepare and cook meals in line with the restaurant standards Prepare and cook meals for special events and additions functions, adjusting the dishes accordingly with the dietary needs of the customers; Ensure the quality of raw ingredients and foodstuff in general operate in efficient manner ovens, grills and other cooking equipment regulating temperatures seasoning food while cooking portioning and place food on a plate adding garnish and sauces if required preserve and freeze food and ingredients to store Maintain and operate the kitchen in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner. These include Cleaning of the kitchen and kitchen supplies and utensils on a regular basis; Support the ordering of food and supplies Being able to care for food supplies and leftovers appropriately Prepare main, entrees, and desserts Developing menu suggestions for meal planning Proceeding with cleaning and defrosting of the refrigerator on a monthly basis Diligently check on store food and supplies are delivered Able to maintain a clean and neat appearance in line with the organisation's standards; If you would like to apply for the position please send your cover letter and resume within.
