Pescara Restaurant is a newly established Italian restaurant located in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Located on site at Hermitage Lodge which is situated on a 20-hectare property in the heart of Pokolbin. Our Kitchen team currently has an opportunity for full-time chefs to join our kitchen team. We are looking for a team players with positive attitudes with a minimum of 2 years’ kitchen experience. The right people to join our team will be experienced in food preparation, quality food , and safe food handling. Other duties and responsibilities may include, but not limited to, the following: - Prepare and cook food for your section at Pescara Restaurant; - Ensure quality of dishes at all stages of delivery, preparation and serving; - Report to Head Chef any issues with deliveries, produce and keep a list of items required for your section - Relay food preparation procedures and presentation to other kitchen staff. - Prepare, cook and present ordered food in a timely manner and co-ordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure a seamless presentation of all dishes. - Follow, explain, and ensure hygiene regulations are being followed. - Label, Date and Freeze and foods. - Keep kitchen and food preparation areas in an orderly and hygienic manner, ensuring cleanliness at the beginning and the end of each shift.  In addition, you will also be well-groomed with a high standard of hygiene, punctual and have your own transport. We are also an approved business sponsor and will consider sponsoring sufficiently skilled foreign nationals on 482 Temporary Skilled Shortage (TSS) Visas. Package $60,000 - $70,000 plus 10.5% superannuation.
