You will also be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that align with our client’s business goals and objectives.Your primary responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our business goals and objectives Sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with vendor Analyzing market trends and staying up-to-date with industry developments to identify potential cost savings opportunitiesCollaborating with internal stakeholders, including production and quality assurance teams, to ensure that procurement decisions meet their needs/requirements Managing the procurement team and providing leadership, mentorship, and training to team members The ideal candidate for this position will have:At least 4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Experience leading a team and managing multiple projects simultaneously An analytical mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisionsKey to your success In this role, will be your exceptional communication skills as a key component of this role will be to lead negotiations with suppliers, manage supplier relationships, and continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement processes and cost savings.
