If that cause excites you, please read on!Your new role: Reporting to the Talent Lead, you will join an experienced and collaborative HR&Talent team. The Talent Specialist supports operational teams delivering a wide variety of services that support older Australians, people with disabilities, children and families. These services employ a wide range of specialists including home care support workers, case managers, counselors, social workers, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and behaviour support practitioners.As an accomplished talent acquisition professional, you will partner with senior leaders, managers and team leaders to identify workforce needs and develop and implement strategies to identify, source, and attract top talent to join our organisation. As a trusted and valued partner, you will extend your knowledge and skill coordinating internal and external recruitment campaigns utilising both active and passive candidate sourcing techniques using a variety of media and methods. You will be supported by a multi-disciplinary People&Culture team comprising of HR Business Partners, a HR process team, aWHS team and the other members of the Talent Team. About you The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a highly valued partner of our operational teams who rely on you to provide expert advice, coaching, insights and innovative solutions to help source highly sought after professionals in a candidate short and competitive job market. You might have an agency background, or you’re in a role focused on sourcing for an internal talent team. Either way you are great at finding talent. You develop relationships and networks, nurture connections, all in the name of being able to find that great person who is right for this role. You are adept at creating talent pipelines using talent pools with applicant tracking systems, social media, and networking. You bring practical solutions to complex issues, knowing that one size doesn't fit all. You demonstrate respect and curiosity to understand, learn, challenge the status quo and influence where needed. You collaborate effectively both within the People&Culture team and cross-functionally. There’s a sense of satisfaction when you make that match. A degree in a HR, Business, or related field would be great, but solid experience in a role focused on sourcing great people is just as valuableExperience in a recruitment role in a fast paced, high volume environment, with a proactive focus on sourcing great people. Healthcare or community services experience is an advantage!
