Nestled amongst beautiful, natural physical environments,  Alexandra Hills Early Education  offers warm and welcoming experience the moment you arrive.  Due to our lovely kindergarten teacher relocating to rural QLD, we are currently seeking their replacement for 2023.  We are also seeking an assistant educator to join our expanding team.  Please specify when applying which position you are interested in.  The right candidate(s) will: • Place the child at the centre of their work, focusing on the development of the ‘whole child’ – physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. • View children through deep respect and possess a genuine desire and commitment for playing a significant role in their holistic learning journey • Hold a great passion for nature play and outdoor education • (ECT APPLICATN ONLY) Plan and deliver a quality child focused Kindergarten Program (which includes our weekly Bush Kindy program), embracing sustainable practices • Take pride in the presentation of the centre and in all aspects of their role • Have good working knowledge of EYLF, QKLG and NQF • Demonstrate a high proficiency in written English; spelling, grammar and punctuation • Have a solution orientated attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously • Maintain an inclusive, supportive, and educational environment for all children, educators and families • Demonstrate good organisational skills and time management skills Qualifications Desirable Skills/Interests: • ECT APPLICANT ONLY - Must hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)  • Interest in The Arts (desirable)  • Training or interest in Forest School/Bush Kindy (desirable)  • Hold current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis • Must have a current valid Blue Card Please note that only successful applicants will be contacted.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the minimum qualification and experience.
