* Flemington Location* Permanent Full Time* Hybrid Work This company is based in Flemington looking for a Systems Engineer to join them. This role is reporting to the platform and cyber security manager and is known as a leader in their industry. In this role you will be:Plan, design, implement, support, and maintain Hybrid Cloud Platforms and associated services.Leverage Cloud-based IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions to align with a cloud-first strategy.Design and perform server, network, and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.Review and implement new security solutions and procedures to maintain and enhance the current cyber security posture.Mentor System Administrators and other Engineers while actively sharing knowledge and experience.Contribute to implementing, maintaining, improving DevOps technology and principles, such as CI/CD pipelines.Build and operate monitoring, logging, alerting to enhance security, availability, reliability, and performance.Provide backup help desk support and escalation of level 3 IT enquiries.To be successful you will need:Proven experience successfully designing, implementing, and supporting backup and disaster recovery solutions.Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS in particular, in an enterprise environment.Extensive experience with private, public, and hybrid Cloud environments is a must.Strong networking knowledge and experience across networking design, implementation, and maintenance, including wireless in an enterprise environment is a must.Detailed experience and knowledge of O365 environment, including Teams telephony, Security, and Compliance.Intermediate knowledge of Powershell and scripting.Experience with implementing and maintaining logging, monitoring, and alerting of platforms, applications, and networks in an enterprise environment.Experienced in mentoring and coaching junior team members.BenefitsCompetitive remunerationFlexible work practices, including hybrid working arrangements.Great team cultureOn-site and employer-subsidizedcafe and free on-site car parkingA convenient location well-accessed by public transport.To Apply:Please send us a copy of your resume in a word for review we will reach out as soon as possible to discuss this role.
