As senior member of this class-leading team, you will work with companies cut through the complexity, manage the uncertainty and create clear pathways to net zero emissions by supporting them to make the right decisions at the right times and set themselves on a pathway for success.
Overview Of Responsibilities
Lead client development and project delivery efforts by producing high-level strategic analysis and energy transition plan assessment frameworks aligned with their business landscape and wider corporate objectives
Lead workshops with client key stakeholders to understand their current state-of-play across pipeline and ‘in flight’ projects, and operational buildings
Develop strategies for the integration of net zero efforts across a range of businesses across the real estate, infrastructure and natural resources sectors through a robust programme approach, and implementation
Lead and manage all or part of net zero programmes by working at a macro or functional level depending on the needs of the programme and client
Manage client relations and commercial arrangements
Lead the development of programme processes and systems that enable efficient data collection, management, and benchmarking
Lead the set-up, delivery and close out of programmes in accordance with the clients’ requirements
Support business development activities with new and existing clients
Support the ongoing development of services, toolkits and capability
Qualifications
10 + years’ experience in utilities/energy industry
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Environmental Science, Law, , Economics or similar with advanced post-graduation qualifications preferred (Masters, MBA)
Demonstrated ability to provide high-level strategic analysis on complex topics, recognise opportunities and provide clear and concise insights to support strategic decision-making regarding renewables, net zero pathways, climate change and energy and energy policy
Highly developed understanding of energy regulation, climate change policies and the national energy market
Exceptional oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation and representational skills, with demonstrated ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships across diverse teams and large organisations
