Description

We re currently seeking a Lead Agile Coach for a 12-months contract with the Government agency in Melbourne.

Being a part of a large program with an objective of Fines Reform, the Agile Coach is responsible for developing and maintaining the Agile capability through effective mentoring, coaching and the creation and implementation of the end-to-end Agile Delivery Foundations Framework and implementation of the supporting Agile Capability Uplift plan. This role will work in partnership with the Program s Leadership team to design, mobilise and deliver Agile Practices and an Agile Mindset to optimise program delivery and support achievement of objectives.

The role will;
Contribute towards development of the program Delivery Model resource to support establishment of a stable Agile delivery environment
Design and implement an Agile Capability Uplift Plan to enhance the delivery model
Provide coaching & mentoring across the Program
Lead development and implementation of a catalogue of Agile capability artefacts for The Program to supplement the Agile Capability Uplift Plan and support ongoing team development and reinforce adoption of Agile ways of working
Lead the establishment and ongoing management / facilitation of Agile Community of Practice/s to facilitate collaboration, awareness raising and best practice sharing
Lead the management, maturation and monitoring of Program Agile capabilities to ensure effectiveness of the Agile Capability Uplift Plan
Leverage the Agile Services Panel to source appropriate Agile services
Collaborate with the relevant Practice areas
Contribute and provide input into key Program governance forums and Agile Ceremonies as a trusted and respected Agile advisor for the program
Build and maintain effective relationships with the program leadership and key program stakeholders
Support the Portfolio Director and Practice Leads with other designated duties as they arise.
Looking for ;

Technical Expertise
Project Delivery Experience - Demonstrated experience in delivery of large and complex transformation projects / programs of work (preferred ICT program experience) within a multivendor environment, using SAFe
Coaching Experience - Demonstrated experience in Agile coaching, mentoring, and staff development (at all levels) within large complex multi-stream programs of work
Advanced understanding and experience in the application of Agile values, principles, methods and techniques across various different Agile disciplines / frameworks, including SAFe
Strong workshop facilitation skills, including agile ceremonies, product discoveries, hosting community of practice events and similar activities
Knowledge of Project and Portfolio Management methodology, processes and tools, and Change and release management processes and procedures
Qualifications
Relevant ICT tertiary qualification and demonstrated equivalent professional experience
Demonstrated Agile delivery experience and Agile coaching experience
