About the Position DADI () is the international hub of DADI Engineering Development Group, one of the industry leaders for mining consulting in China. DADI Engineering has set its footprint in several countries and regions including Australia, the United States, South Africa, Mozambique, Mongolia, Russia, etc. With a global portfolio of operations, DADI has completed projects in most of the major mining regions in the world.As a part of our business and project expansion, we are now seeking a long-term, full time mechanical engineer to join our team at our Rutherford team. The position will play a vital role in our day to day operations, and will provide essential and professional support to the project team on site.Your duties will include:Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Facilitate the communication between the clients, onsite project team and the NHL technical team based in China;Generate project reports and updates to managers, project supervisors and other essential stakeholders.Plans and develops transport systems to improve the mining trucks, other transportation and heavy equipment's' efficiency and improve the cost effectiveness of moving people and freight. Determining construction methods, materials required and quality standards, and drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures for the engineering projectsOrganising and directing mechanics, auto electricians and other relevant specialists and the delivery of construction materials, assembly plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for the coordination of site activitiesStrong ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholdersMonitoring changes and amendments to designs, assessing effects on cost, time and other tangible or intangible resources, and measuring, valuing, and negotiating variations to designs to the manufacturers of the machineries or trucksKnowledge or exposure to study phases, frameworks, and procedures across the project lifecycle (initiation to execution).studying engineering drawings and specifications to estimate total costs, and preparing detailed cost plans and estimates as tools to assist in budgetary control for the various projectsTo be successful, you will need:Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experienceRecent, relevant experience with mining, heavy industry vehicle (330 t payload) assembly, operations, and maintenance projectsFluent in Mandarin and English with high competency in writing Chinese and English preferredQualificationsBachelor of Metals Materials and Engineering degreeMining industry/transportation and heavy industries experience no -- Principals only.
