You’ll be taking up a key role in a global team with offices in the USA, the UK,  and NZ.The OpportunityAs a Technical Project Manager, you are a hybrid blend of a project manager and an implementation/platform specialist.  You’re a key part of the Project Management team working to manage and oversee the delivery of Funraisin platform setups, including:                   
                      
  • Taking the lead on the more complex/technical projects that require significantly more customisation than standard projects 
  •                   
  • Managing timelines for new client implementations/projects
  •                   
  • Managing the entire project lifecycle, from project kick-off, scoping to delivery phases
  •                   
  • Managing site amends and client updates
  •                   
  • Keeping the internal team updated on timings to ensure deadlines and the project's scope of work are met
  •                   
Specifically, the role entails:                  
                      
  • Be the dedicated point of contact for specific customers to advise on the best way to set up their events and ensure that results are maximised and data is actionable
  •                   
  • Conduct project kick-off calls with assistance from the wider Projects Team to understand & analyse the event/appeal/project requirements and specify the technical components of the platform to achieve those requirements
  •                   
  • Maintaining project documentation including the scope of work, meeting minutes, change requests and handover documents
  •                   
  • Check project deliverables have been met on completion of a project and ensure proper training documentation is provided to client when required
  •                   
  • Document custom work completed as part of the project to ensure a smooth transition from the project team to the support team and to enable smoother updates in the future, including any user training on custom features for internal staff
  •                   
  • Assist with campaign debrief and compile learnings for the following event’s implementation
  •                   
  • Assigning specific tasks for projects to members of your team/POD including design, implementation and custom development
  •                   
  • Ensuring any client feedback on deliverables is understood and included in a task brief to your team to implement with appropriate context and examples
  •                   
  • Forward planning of your team’s resourcing based on upcoming projects and capacity
  •                   
  • Implementation of web page content: building up pages using the platform’s inbuilt page builder module
  •                   
  • Setting up event registration flows from a project brief: using the platform's inbuilt entry form generator and adding in any custom styling and web forms as needed
  •                   
  • Working with your team's web developer on custom functionality to ensure the UX is implemented well & acceptance criteria are met
  •                   
  • Testing and QA of any custom functionality including data capture
  •                   
  • Collating bug items for any amends required to custom code or styling that you’re unable to implement and assigning/briefing your team’s developer and designer on the amends needed
  •                   
  • User experience testing of a final website before being sent to the client for review
  •                   
  • Play a role in our global production team to operate more efficiently, share customer projects and truly operate as a 24hr production unit.
  •                   
  • Provide project information for blog articles, PR submissions, case studies and assets that can generate awareness of Funraisin from projects you oversee
  •                   
We think you'll be successful if you:                  
                      
  • Have a Bachelors Degree or 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role
  •                   
  • Are confident in describing project management tools and methodologies and how these assist projects to be delivered on time with exceptional quality
  •                   
  • Prioritise work independently with minimal input from the implementation or support teams
  •                   
  • Always interrogate the value of work and frequently suggest improvements
  •                   
  • Understand the project lifecycle, from creating a brief through to a site going live
  •                   
  • Experience in technical requirements gathering, scoping and estimating digital projects.
  •                   
  • Are a great communicator (written and verbal) and love a fast-paced startup environment
  •                   
  • Happy to chat with clients directly via email and phone to update on project status and timings
  •                   
  • Have a hands-on attitude and a proactive, problem-solving spirit
  •                   
  • User experience and technical know-how, with a deep knowledge of some areas of digital (could be GA, UX, frontend development, etc)
  •                   
  • Have an understanding of web technologies including HTML5, JS & CSS
  •                   
  • Have a strong understanding of content management systems (CMS) such as Wordpress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix etc
  •                   
  • Have a keen design eye for the visual display of content on websites & are confident using page builders to set up great looking web pages
  •                   
  • Have a keen eye for user experience and willing to share concerns and suggestions with client as needed.  
  •                   
  • Have great time management skills and are confident working on a variety of projects concurrently, at different stages
  •                   
  • Have experience in using bug tracking software (eg Bugherd, Jira)
