The  Delivery Group (SDG) is responsible for meeting DHA’s objectives relating to the delivery of high-quality housing services. The Property function within SDG is responsible for the delivery of Developments, Constructions, Acquisitions, Leasing, Sales, Upgrades and Heritage programs. DHA maintains offices in capital cities, major regional centres and on some ADF bases and establishments around . These regional offices (ROs) are the ADF member's first point-of-contact for all housing services including allocations, rent allowance and home maintenance. In addition to managing the incoming member's tenancy, regional office staff membersare a valued source of local knowledge on community services and housing market conditions.Your Contribution: Working under limited direction, you will lead, mentor, manage and develop the capability of the regional team to provide high quality services and ensure optimum team performance. By managing and monitoring team and contractor performance, you will ensure customer satisfaction and other KPIs are met, contractor management practices deliver cost effective solutions and DHA business processes are followed.You will maintain a strong knowledge of the real estate market, DHA processes and state legislation, evaluating risk, commercial return, and maintenance liability. You will encourage productivity and efficiency within the business, identify efficient and effective business innovations and be solution focused. You will closely and skillfully manage the regional budgets for repairs and maintenance, operating expenditure, and resources.You will establish, maintain, and strengthen working relationships with internal and external stakeholders that are collaborative and strategic and represent DHA at various forums. You will respond professionally and sensitively to escalated complex issues and stakeholder concerns while capably representing DHA’s interests. Using your specialist, professional and technical expertise, you will exercise strong decision making and judgement to ensure operational outcomes are delivered within the region.What we are looking for: For this role, we will consider how well you: Use In-depth experience within the residential property industry and a proven ability to deliver business outcomes. Have Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Engage and lead a team in the provision of high-quality customer service to meet organisation/team objectives and business outcomes in a commercial environment. Manage priorities, organise workloads and meet challenging deadlines under limited direction. Use strategic, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills, together with sound judgement and high attention to detail and an ability to achieve results.Take initiative and be innovative in developing new or improved work practices. Manage budgets, including managing asset-based decisions in the context of commercial outcomes.
