About the Position                  

                    A great opportunity to join a major APAC organisation, supporting their NT business unit to oversee the delivery of projects, commissioning and handover and well as business growth, across the Electrical and Communications sectors to key clients within the Federal and State/Territory Government, Local Councils, Defence and Tertiary Education sectors.                    
                    
You will need to come from an Electrical, Data / Communications  or Trade background, ideally having completed formal project management training and held a project manager role for 5+ years; with strong stakeholder engagement skills.                    
                    
Key to this role is driving project delivery as well as project bids / pricing activities with site walk-rounds and reviews and providing detailed costings / estimates on predicted costs and timescales.                    
                    
Duties:                    
                    
Ensure Electrical and Communications projects are properly priced and delivered and that the correct certifications are in place. Undertake Tender Responses, RFP’s, EOI’s for new projects or CapEx works as well as site walk-rounds to price works. Ensuring compliance against statutory requirements, codes of practice, laws and regulations concerning the delivery of Electrical and Data / Comms projects across the .Developing Project Programme of Works and ensure delivery timescales are achieved. Utilising data and analytics to drive decisions around upcoming project opportunities within the Northern Territory.                    
                    
Qualifications                    
                    
Electrical Engineering Degree or Trade background. 5+ years undertaking Electrical or Data / Communications projects (New Build and Major Upgrades) ideally within State / Territory Government, Federal Government, Defence or Tertiary Education sites. Must be an Australian Citizen, hold a National Police Check and able to secure additional Security Checks (Security Licence / NV1).
