Your new company Our client, a leading national company specialised in Mining, is recruiting a Project Manager with extensive Project Engineer experience to lead several Civil and Water infrastructure projects in a remote mining site in the Northern Territory.                    
                    
Your new role As a Project Manager, you will handle the projects from the design phase to completion, and ensure they are delivered on time, to budget and in accordance with the specifications. This is a full-time role with a 12-month duration and possible extension, with a FIFO roster from Darwin or  (4 days on / 3 days off), with a standard working day of 10 hours.Your key responsibilities will be: Handle the design phase of the projects. Work on the tender packages for each project. Engage with subcontractors. Establish the scheduling of works. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate delivery of each project. Manage the execution of the projects, organize, and provide direction for Site Supervisors and Leading Hands.Direct and monitor sub-contractors, suppliers, and plant hires. Complete all documentation associated with the management of the project.                    
                    
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will have: A Bachelor of Civil or Mechanical . Significant experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager working on Civil or Water infrastructure projects (Bulk earthworks, Road Construction, Storm water drainage, Tailing dams, Lay-out of pipelines).Previous experience working on Mining infrastructure projects is desirable. Ability to read and interpret contract documents and project drawings. Experience with implementation of management systems on a project. Experience with subcontract management. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and Project.Excellent oral, written communication and analytical skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
