We are firmly committed to looking after our staff, from safety in the workplace through to professional development, ongoing training, and equal opportunities.                    About the role                    We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team based in our Darwin Office.                     Candidates must have a proven history of working as a Site Manager on various construction projects.                     Our range of projects include building, civil, environmental / remediation projects and demolition / decommissioning projects; which consistently ensure high quality project delivery outcomes.                    Success in this role will enable you to demonstrate the following                    
                        
  • Safety Leadership, actively promoting safety initiatives and implementing risk management techniques
  •                     
  • Working with the Project Team, to ensure compliance with Client and McMahon Services' safety, quality and business processes
  •                     
  • Writing and reviewing JSA's and risk assessments
  •                     
  • Read, Interpret and Communicate Plans Effectively
  •                     
  • Effectively Manage Task sequencing and planning, focussing on efficiency
  •                     
  • Communicates and consults with site management, trade-specific and field personnel to a high level
  •                     
  • Maximising resource usage, with the goal of efficiency
  •                     
  • Ensure project is meeting program and actively seeks programme acceleration
  •                     
  • Manage and schedules resources, identifying peak periods of resource usage within budget limitations
  •                     
  • Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions for the project
  •                     
  • Effective communication and builds positive relationships with clients, project team, management, suppliers and subcontractors
  •                     
  • Use problem-solving abilities to find innovative solutions
  •                     
  • Builds a team culture within the work crew/s
  •                     
  • Accepts and adheres to the quality standards dictated by the project; and has a personal goal to achieve the standards in the most time and cost-efficient methods
  •                     
  • The ability to work away is required is required in this position.
  •                     
                    Skills and Experience                    
                        
  • Experience in managing construction sites
  •                     
  • Experience in construction scheduling and constructability
  •                     
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role within Australia
  •                     
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  •                     
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Project and Excel
  •
