About the Position Our client is a respected specialist contractor with an exemplary track record on delivering an array of complex and challenging Geotechnical, Retention and Ground projects within the civil infrastructure sector throughout Melbourne.

Due to successful tendering and company growth they are seeking an experienced (minimum 5yrs+) Melbourne based Senior Contracts Administrator / Commercial Manager from the civils sector, to join their existing senior management team reporting directly into the General Manager.

The ideal candidate will be from a specialist or sub-contract background with a minimum 5yrs experience in negotiating and reviewing Tier 1 civil contracts.

You will also be required to assist senior management on claims and contractual correspondence in addition you will also be the point of contact for drafting and execution of supply subcontract's. You will also be required to provide direction and mentoring of company staff on commercial strategies within the business. This role would ideally suit someone with experience in Piling, Excavation, Retention, Concrete or Ground Engineering.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager which carries a salary package upto circa $200k for the successful candidate

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
Degree Educated In Quantity Surveying (preferred) Civil Engineering / Construction Management Minimum 5 yrs Commercial / Contracts Management experience Experience on $3m - $10m+ Civil Engineering Projects Extensive Contract Negotiation Experience Specialist / Tier 2 Contractor Experience Preferred Strong Negotiation Skills Melbourne Based With Australian Experience Essential
