About the Position Hays are looking for a Garden Hand to join a crew for works based in the City of .
Your new company
Hays are currently seeking a general hand, to join a park maintenance team, based out of Mandurah.

They are a close-knit team, who partake in various park maintenance tasks throughout their daily routine.

Your new role
The responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with Garden Maintenance (Mulching, Planting and Pruning)
- Tree Planting
- Traffic Management
- Turf and Garden Reticulation Monitoring
- Weed Management (incl. application of herbicides)
- General Litter Collection
- Installation of Fencing and Pine Bollards
- Lawn Mowing (incl. operation of ride on mowers, edgers, blowers and brush cutters)
- Tractor Operation (used for slashing and turf renovations)
- Applying Fertilizers to Garden Areas

What you'll need to succeed
This role requires relevant experience and qualification within the horticulture / landscaping field. In particular, this role requires:
- White Card
- Ability to pass Drug / Alcohol Screen
- Experience in Park / Garden Maintenance
- Knowledge of Gardening Tools
- Good Communication and Team Ethic

What you'll get in return
- Hourly rate of $35.43
- Supportive Work Environment
- 6am - 3pm
- Nine-day fortnight (no weekend work and a long weekend every other week)
