About the Position                  

                    Mechanical repair, maintenance & diagnosis of heavy vehicles, engines, & related mechanical components $100k+                     Your new role

                    

                      
• Maintain all aspects of heavy vehicles to relevant state transport legislation and standards
                      
• Maintain all aspects of equipment to the supplier's standards
                      
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance services
                      
• Perform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faults
                      
• Repair or replace defective parts on all heavy vehicles and equipment
                      
• Ensure all hand tools and equipment are safe to use and stored clean and correctly
                    

                    
What you'll need to succeed                    
                    
                    

                      
• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment or Cert III Mobile Heavy Plant. Light vehicle mechanics may apply.
                      
• Basic computer Knowledge
                      
• Heavy Rigid (HR) license preferable
                      
• Moderate experience working with Heavy Vehicles
                      
• A professional presentation and manner with strong customer  ethic
                      
• A strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work as part of a team
