Position Overview The Business Development C4I Lead will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities related to defence C4I solutions, including Internet of Things (IoT) integration. This role will require technical knowledge of Defence C4I systems, IoT devices, defence industry experience, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Primary Duties: Identify and develop business opportunities related to defence C4I solutions with IoT integration. Provide technical expertise and consultation to clients and stakeholders. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement defence C4I solutions with IoT integration. Support to the BD & Strategy team in providing technical knowledge on defence C4I solutions and operations. Participate in industry conferences and events to represent the company and expand business opportunities. Conduct regular team meetings and provide status reports. Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices. Manage schedule elements as they pertain to your work packages to ensure the on-time delivery of all elements of your work packages. Undertake risk analysis to ensure that key risks are identified, monitored and mitigated. Manage scope of work being undertaken and ensure that all required tasks are completed and that no additional tasks are undertaken without approval. Provide advice to develop project budgets. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in , Computer Science, or related field (preferred). Trade Qualifications in an Electronics, Electrical, or related field (considered based on experience). Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in defence C4I environment (IoT integration considered favourable). Knowledge of IoT concepts and practical application. Strong technical knowledge of C4I systems. Exposure to managing sub-contractor relationships and work packages. Knowledge of Army and Joint defence communications architecture and procedures. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be eligible to obtain and hold an Australian Government Security clearance (must be Australian Citizen).
