About the Position                  

                    We seek a full time senior ICT Infrastructure project manager ito join the Project Management Office (PMO) who wil= be undertaking a variety of project activities in an All of Government context. Typically PMO project managers will simultaneously manage between 4-10 projects depending on size and complexity. The project manager will join an existing team of project managers and support staff and will report to the Director of the PMO. An incumbent is already in this position.                    
                    
Background information / Compatibility requirements• Substantial and highly developed project and resource management skills – formal and current project management methodology training is highly regarded;                    
                    
• Proven ability to lead staff and  providers in the successful delivery of complex ICT projects.                    
                    
• Substantial knowledge in a number of areas of ICT services eg ICT infrastructure, software deployment, transition and major change management projects.                    
                    
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills with exceptional negotiation skills. Desired Outcomes ('Nice to haves', Conditions&Warranties, SLA's, Project benefits)• NT Police clearance - PF166                    
                    
• Minimum 5 year’s project management experience within an ICT infrastructure or telecoms environment (Desktop, network, voice and service management)                    
                    
• Minimum 5 year’s working experience in a large and complex Government or Corporate enterprise.                    
                    
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managed ITIL environment
