About the Position The successful applicant will be a member of the executive leadership team with responsibility for growing the business and brand across a portfolio of sites through NSW and . The Company Regional Livestock Exchanges (RLX) develop regionally significant modern livestock facilities in strategic locations. The portfolio currently consists of eight sites across the eastern seaboard of Australia, including one in Queensland, four in and three in Victoria.The Position As a key member of the executive leadership team, the General Manager (North) will be responsible for optimising commercial business outcomes across a portfolio of Regional Livestock Exchange facilities in NSW and Queensland. This includes overseeing teams of skilled people delivering industry-leading operations at those sites and supporting the whole suite of support from safe operations to financial and facilities management.An important aspect of the role will be developing and maintaining high level relationships and industry networks to enhance the RLX brand and reputation and to identify and execute business development opportunities and drive growth across the region in line with RLX’s refreshed business strategy and key priorities.This position requires regular travel to the sites across the region and interstate. The Person To be successful in this position, you will possess the following skills and attributes: Minimum of 5-10 years management experience. Demonstrated project development and management experience. Strong leadership and management skills with a demonstrated ability to direct, motivate and mentor staff and build capability; track record of coaching, developing and mentoring staff to deliver performance and work to their full potential;Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to deliver key business goals, priorities and outstanding commercial outcomes. Strong financial skills with the ability to understand key business drivers, monitor and report on business performance; Ability to develop compelling business cases and presentations to support project development.Experience working in the agriculture industry, supply chain management or a related field Tertiary qualifications or a diploma in a Business or Agriculture related field or equivalent experience.
