DescriptionWe are seeking to employ an experienced Fitter Machinist to join our team. To be successful in this role you would possess the following: - To be able to read 3D drawings and specifications to determine production requirements and sequence of operations and machine settings.
- Skills to fit metal parts that have been fabricated into machinery and assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment.
- Use calipers, micro meter and other measuring instruments to check all parts that have been fabricated and/or assembled for accuracy, clearance and fit.
- Set guides, stops and other controls on machining tools, setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools and dies in machines and presses, and set controls for production machines Set program codes into lathes and/or mill to enable production of solid works.
