We are a team of passionate professionals that goes above and beyond for their clients to deliver exceptional photo & video, and fun experiences and entertainment. Skyedge Events is open to hiring two reliable and friendly staff members to handle and operate event equipment whilst providing fun experiences to guests in a professional manner. We  all type of events any day of the week. Most events are Fridays and Saturdays. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure in the events & photography industry, meet people, make friends, and be trained by our professional photographers, all while earning money at the same time! Full training provided! There are two positions available; one to handle and operate the photo booth and one to handle and operate the non-flammable sparks machine and/or dry ice clouds machine. Position 1 (Event Staff - Photo Booth Equipment) Responsibilities (not limited to):                  
                        
  • Pick up and return equipment using your own vehicle
    •                     
  • Ensure equipment is safely loaded into the venue and is set up on time
    •                     
  • Protect equipment from damage from external factors such as liquid spills, guests, venue activity
    •                     
  • Operate and maintain operating condition of equipment throughout the event
    •                     
  • Interact, entertain guests, and create a fun environment in a friendly and professional manner
    •                     
  • Possible patron control; calm patrons down to prevent equipment damage
    •                     
  • Take quick videos for social media content
    •                   
To be considered you must:                  
                        
  • Have a driver’s license and own vehicle to transport equipment
    •                     
  • Be fit and able to lift up to 25kg. The equipment is very heavy.
    •                     
  • Be punctual and reliable (very important!)
    •                     
  • Have a safe mindset (very important!) - Preventing injuries, accidents and equipment damage is the number 1 priority.
    •                     
  • Be outgoing & sociable to create a fun environment for guests
    •                     
  • Be able to work independently and under pressure
    •                     
  • Have excellent customer service skills
    •                     
  • Be fluent in English
    •                   
Due to legal requirements, you must be an Australian Citizen. Position 2 (Event Staff - Sparks & Dry Ice Clouds Equipment) Responsibilities (not limited to):                  
                        
  • Pick up and return equipment using your own vehicle
    •                     
  • Ensure equipment is safely loaded into the venue and is set up on time
    •                     
  • Protect equipment from damage from external factors such as liquid spills, guests, venue activity
    •                     
  • Operate equipment during performances
    •                     
  • Possible patron control; calm patrons down to prevent equipment damage
    •                     
  • Take quick videos for social media content
    •
