About the Position Security (Information&Communication Technology) aizoOn is an Italian R&D company working on an array of intriguing, scientifically-driven projects from Switzerland to Sydney. We have deep ties and ongoing research collaborations in the academic world – our CTO is a Professor of Cyber Security in one of Europe’s leading universities. In the antipodes, we established a partnership with theCSIRO’s Data61 to further our machine learning research in cyber. We have built on our foundation as an services firm in defence over the past decade and are constantly on the lookout for creative science types to join us in exploring new research territory.As we continue to expand throughout Australia, We are looking for a CISO to join us and support our global customer. In this role you will be accountable for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Cyber Resiliency Strategy across the (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) domains.This Role includes driving policies and standards for cyber security, developing and managing a panel of Information Security Services and driving across the business a culture of risk management and cyber awareness. Within the purview of the cyber capability, the CISO will utilise strategic thinking and deep analytical skills to deliver secure business outcomesYou’ll find yourself: Develop the Cyber Security Strategy, ensuring it aligned to corporate values. Maintain and evolve risk management framework. Ensure that Risks are identified, escalated, mitigated, or accepted in line with organisational risk appetite. Establish and maintain governance and compliance across the cyber domain.Executive and Board Reporting. Develop and evolve the cyber security strategy ensuring business alignment through risk and values-based lens. We are looking for candidates possessing the following experience:

Previous Head of Information Security / CISO / experience– this must have been in a Global Enterprise Organisation. While years of experience can be an arbitrary measure of ability, we would expect that the candidate has at least 10 years of experience under their belt. An excellent understanding of Operational Technology, its inherent risks and the appropriate standards, protocols and policies that must be integrated into a broader organisational security strategy.Have a depth of knowledge and an engaging way of communicating the current and future risks and responses in this rapidly evolving world You are leadership incarnate– information security is a cultural mindset more than anything else. You must have a presence and communication style that reaches and encourages positive behavioural change across all levels of an organisation.This is a once in a lifetime opportunity with a huge responsibility to build something adhering to best international standards.
