The Trustee for Roastville Unit Trust, trading as Roastville Coffee, offers a seasonal, all day menu with market specials, boasting bold flavours and an array of house made sweets.We are looking for Café/Restaurant Manager to join our team!Duties and Responsibilities:                  
                      
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the café/restaurant and ensuring operational standards are in line with company standards
    •                   
  • Train and develop key members of your team and ensure succession planning is in place
    •                   
  • Full accountability of front of house stocks, ordering, and monthly stock take
    •                   
  • Management of food displays in café/restaurants
    •                   
  • Managing wastage
    •                   
  • Management of opening and closing of the Café on daily basis
    •                   
  • Management of the Point-of-Sale system and booking system
    •                   
  • Oversee the reconciliation of daily takings & maintain accurate record keeping
    •                   
  • Review and communicate financial information to assist in proactive and timely decision making
    •                   
  • Full P&L responsibility, ensuring that all costs are managed & risks to expenses flagged in advance
    •                   
  • Represent the ethos of the business
    •                   
  • Proactively leading the team during  on the floor, ensuring all areas are performing effectively, the customer experience is memorable & the teams are motivated
    •                   
  • Develop and maintain a safe workplace adhering to our safety and wellbeing policy and procedures
    •                   
   Skills and Experience:                  
                      
  • 2+ years working in management positions across the hospitality industry
    •                   
  • Experience in both café and bar/restaurant environments preferred
    •                   
  • Strong and effective leadership skills; the ability to support, motivate, effectively manage and communicate with team members while maintaining a hands-on approach
    •                   
  • Full understanding of P&Ls
    •                   
  • Proven financial management skills
    •                   
  • Strong administrative skills and POS system experience
    •                   
Job Type: Full time Salary: $60,000 per annum + superannuation Should you be qualified, send your application immediately!
