Your new role
As the Media Advisor you will be leading the response in incoming media enquiries and preparing and reviewing reports for monitoring. You will be required to manage and maintain the department's media channels and contributing to the writing and editing of publications content. You will be effectively building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will play a key role in the department's emergency response and hazard media and communication, as well as proactively and reactively responding to enquiries.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A proven track record in media monitoring and management within a government organisation Ability to engage and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders Demonstrated experience organising and managing projects Demonstrated experience with proactive and reactive media High levels of written and communication skills
