About the Position Senior Environmental Advisor, working on approvals for major projects Your new company
This major utilities provider is a highly regarded employer with centrally located offices. They are seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to join the team initially for 6 months, although it is highly likely that position will continue to extend.

Your new role You will undertake and organise environmental impact assessments for complex projects with minimal guidance. Provide guidance and support regarding state and commonwealth project/scheme referral processes, e.g part IV and V and the EPBC act. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders with a view to obtaining relevant and practicable environmental approvals. Undertake environmental audits and inspections as set out in the audit/inspection schedule.
What you'll need to succeed Tertiary level qualification in environmental science, geographic information systems or similar Demonstrated experience implementing the environmental protection Act 1986 (Parts IV and V) and the EPBC Act 1999 Project experience highly regarded
