About the Position                  

                    We are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor on a permanent basis.                                         Your new company                     Our client is seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to join their team on a 12/9 roster at our mine site. As the Environmental Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards, particularly in regards to water sampling and monitoring.                    Your new role                     Your responsibilities will include;                    

                    
• Conduct monthly water sampling of dams and record data accurately
                    
• Ensure all water sampling meets Department of Environment and Science standards
                    
• Monitor water quality and investigate any anomalies
                    
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports
                    
• Develop and implement environmental management plans
                    
• Advise on environmental risks and propose solutions
                    

                    What you'll need to succeed                    

                    
• Relevant environmental degree or qualification
                    
• Previous experience in environmental management or advisory roles, particularly in mining or similar industries
                    
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards
                    
• Experience with water sampling and monitoring
                    
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
                    
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
