With its unique skills and experience in underground works, Ghella is involved in the construction of many infrastructure projects such as subways, railways, motorways and major road, significate water and hydraulic works. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to join our company. As an Environmental Advisor you will support the delivery of the construction and handover over phase of a major infrastructure project. You will be responsible for providing environmental advice and guidance to our project teams, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and supporting our company's commitment to sustainability. Main Responsibilities: Provide environmental advice and guidance to project teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards. Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize environmental impacts. Assist with the development and implementation of environmental management plans for the project. Develop and deliver environmental training to project teams and stakeholders. Monitor environmental performance, including the collection and analysis of data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare environmental reports and documentation for regulatory agencies and clients. Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives. Participate in project meetings and provide input on environmental matters. To be successful in this role you will need: Degree or equivalent in Environmental Sciences, or suitably applicable fields At least 2 years of relevant work experience Experience in the construction sector Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good organisation and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Passion for the Environment and Sustainability and driving innovation We look forward to communicating with you soon about this exciting opportunity.
