Your new company

An exciting contract opportunity, with the Victorian Sate Government for a SharePoint.NET Developer for developing a solution that will migrate an existing Access database application to a SharePoint Online platform. You will bring specialist application expertise in systems development and support, and will have had hands on experience with migrating legacy databases to SharePoint Online.

Your new role

You will be responsible to provide, maintain and develop high level of SharePoint/Web technical expertise and guidance on application development policies and processes, and ensure coding complies with best practise.
You will ensure concise documentation of the supported components is created in the Azure DevOps environment. Solution should incorporate future enhancement and compatibility with Microsoft Office365 Power suite and provides specialist and professional advice including guidance to other technical specialists in the field.
Contribute to the development of best practise standards relating to their area of expertise(SharePoint/Web) and develop automated system reporting within the Microsoft Office365 Power Suite.
You will work both independently and as a team on projects and ensure that the IT Change management process is followed.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will bring:
Previous experience as a SharePoint developer. Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks. Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services. High-level coding skills and possess specialist application expertise in systems development and support, and have hands on experience with migrating legacy databases to SharePoint Online.
