With a sense of community, we offer critical financial and legal products and services including Will Writing, Powers of Attorney, Executor Services, Trustee Services and Personal Financial Administration. We are a caring, passionate, and united team across 3 locations Footscray, Dandenong and Bendigo. As the Software Engineering Manager, your role will involve leading multiple scrum teams to develop, deliver and maintain a range of technology solutions closely aligned with key business outcomes. You'll have a deep understanding and passion for technology and be committed to guiding your team to create innovative solutions that are industry best practices. Your responsibilities will include building a high-performing technical team and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and other business units to facilitate the ideation of products/solutions and to develop and support new requirements. Reporting to the Head of Information Services, you'll work alongside other members of the team and contribute to the development of State Trustees' IT strategy, which focuses on a cloud-first solution model to deliver an exceptional experience for our people and clients. Skills & Experience Tertiary qualification in , Business Management or related discipline Significant hands-on development experience, including the management of CI/CD pipelines Experience developing cloud first solutions, such as Serverless solutions, Responsive web design and Progressive Web Applications Experience with large data processing solutions, including using AI/ML models for ingestion and processing Working knowledge of Agile Scrum Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) Experience in managing and leading one or more scrum teams Significant experience in managing technologies, associated risks and working in partnership with external partners and vendors Experience in resource allocation, shaping priorities, and managing different skills within a team Demonstrable customer focus and commercial acumen Well-developed relationship management, interpersonal skills couple with excellent communication skills Experience with Salesforce and/or MuleSoft solutions will be highly regarded but not essential.
