                    Non-ongoing contract offered up to 12 months.                    Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA)Director, Technology, Security and Corporate Support (Chief Information Officer)                    
ASQA is the national regulator for Vocational Education and Training (VET).

The Technology, Security and Corporate Support Team sits within the Corporate and Enabling Group. It is responsible for a range of Business As Usual and corporate support functions within the agency including IT  Management, hardware management, information management, the agency security function, negotiation of leases and overseeing ongoing building and facilities maintenance.
The key duties of the position include:                     The Opportunity

The Director, Technology, Security and Corporate Support (Chief Information Officer) is responsible for the functions and obligations required for the implementation and continuous improvement of the IT and Information Management, Security, Property, and Corporate Support functions described above.

It covers the management of a range of services and activities, some of which include:                    
                        
  • procurement, contract, MoU and vendor management of third-party suppliers
  •                     
  • development and implementation of governance and management frameworks, policies and procedures in relation to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and the National Archives of 's (NAA's) Building trust in the public record policy.
  •                     
  • providing high level advice on the above functions to relevant stakeholders
  •                     
  • working in partnership with key stakeholders - both internal and external to ASQA
  •                     
  • development and implementation of a corporate support function to effectively triage and manage a range of corporate support services.
  •

This selection process may be used to establish a merit pool. The merit pool may be accessed to fill ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies for similar roles within ASQA or across the APS over the next 18 months.
