Your new role
In your role, you will be responsible for: The effective management of the Department's operational property portfolio, including the management of properties leased in and out, minimisation of vacant or underutilised space and disposal of surplus properties The management of more than 500 fleet, ensuring the delivery of a safe and efficient fleet that meets the Department's business needs Leading a team who will provide professional and specialist portfolio property and fleet management advice and services to the Branch, department and internal and external stakeholders Establishing and adhering to robust governance and client management frameworks, systems and controls Fulfilling internal and external reporting obligations, contributing to the strategic leadership of this branch, and representing the branch at internal and external forums
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Property Extensive commercial leasing experience - essential Extensive commercial property and asset management experience - essential Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills - essential Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams - essential Property disposal experience - desirable Public sector property experience - desirable Full working rights in , valid driver's license, triple covid vaccination status
