About the Position Junior Property Solicitor for Specialist Strata Law Firm in Sydney CBDYour new company
Our client is a specialised boutique provider with offerings in strata law, property law, building and construction law, and litigation. Its clients include small to medium businesses and individuals. They are experts in providing straight to the point legal advice and representation, with have proven success in resolving disputes quickly and confidentially. An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Property Solicitor to join their highly professional team.
Your new role
Drafting easements, restrictions of use and positive covenants By-law drafting and consolidations Preparing and lodging documents electronically through PEXA Conducting searches and enquiries Preparing, formatting, and editing general correspondence and documents including cost disclosure and cost agreements, contracts and leases Preparing and filing documents with Courts and tribunals online Assisting staff with file management Liaising with clients and assisting with client enquiries Legal research tasks Other ad hoc tasks as required and directed by solicitors
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 2 years PQE experience in property law Experience in title structuring and drafting easements, restrictions of use and positive covenants Experience and knowledge in all aspects of PEXA Exceptional attention to detail and high degree of accuracy Experience in strata law preferred Experience with Practice Evolve preferred The ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities Sound judgment and a can-do attitude
