About the Position We are looking for a Principal Engineer to join our Mortgages team based in Sydney. Here you'll work with squads, chapter leads, delivery leads and leaders to solve the tribe's most complex and difficult technical challenges. You'll play a critical role in Mortgage's ability to improve customer experience and grow the business by ensuring we implement sustainable solutions and respond to emerging technical challenges. What are you going to do? You will be Interpreting Architecture designs to help design effective solutions. Developing and communicating complex ideas and solutions, technical advice and recommendations to IT and business leadership teams. Coaching and quality control of application implementations including code, integrations and defect resolution in a variety of technologies. Planning and conducting workshops to define technical requirements based on business needs. Providing thought leadership on new technologies that can deliver increased customer value. What are we looking for? Someone who has Testing experience using the software development lifecycle and across full testing lifecycle Demonstrated development experience in Java/C# and SQL server knowledge. Strong knowledge on any UI Testing Automation Framework using Selenium WebDriver, Appium. Hands-on experience in Junit, Maven and/or other unit and automated testing tools Knowledge of one or more scripting languages - PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Perl, Shell scripting.
