About the Position Your role: As a Mechanical Engineer Submariner, you'll be the technical expert onboard submarines. You'll get more responsibility early in your career than most civilian engineer roles and have opportunities to travel overseas. Your responsibilities will include the repair and maintenance of the submarine's structures, systems, and associated mechanical services. Whilst studying for a job-relevant degree at your choice of accredited university, you can join the Navy and have your fees paid for, earn a salary while you complete your degree, and walk straight into a great Navy role following graduation.
