Your new company
My client have been in the industry for over 20 years, establishing themselves as a quality supplier of custom furniture. As one of Melbourne's major furniture manufacturers, they specialise in office, receptions and hospital and medical centre fit outs. By having a focus on delivering quality, they manage from manufacture through to delivery and liaise with the site teams.

Your new role
You will be working as an IMOS Drafter focusing on commercial furniture design. You will be responsible for liaising between the factory team and the clients, you will be creating bespoke joinery. You will be working with 2 other drafters, managing multiple projects at once to ensure smooth delivery.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have experience in joinery design. My client uses IMOS software for their drafting, however they are open to taking on people with experience in Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, CabMaster or Pytha and will give you training in IMOS. You will need to be open to working in the office Monday to Friday 8-4:30, overtime is very rare.
