Your new role: As the Deputy Project Manager - Anzac Engineering Change you will be supporting project managers within the Anzac Class programme. In this role you will effectively engage stakeholders, support a project team and manage sub-contractors to achieve the required outcomes for projects with defined scope and of sufficient scale to require the application of Project Management within the cost, schedule and quality constraints while managing risk and opportunity.You will support Warship Asset Management Agreement on all issues relating to implementation of the relevant Project's Engineering Change affecting Platform systems on the ANZAC Class. Act as a point of contact to coordinate design and production teams across the programme In more specific terms you will:Ensure products&services are delivered are in accordance with relevant product safety policies and customer satisfaction Support and assist PM's in the delivery of projects or collection of discrete tasks with a defined scope Foster a positive collaborative culture between the key project stakeholders and the project team including the customer, sub-contractors and suppliersCollate resource forecasts from PM's into integrated master forecast model to accurately track capacity and budget Identify project opportunities and risks and develop mitigation strategies for pursuit throughout contract phases Monitor and report on the status of risks and opportunities About you:As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have: Project management qualifications or working toward acquiring the qualification A confident and positive demeanor, able to approach any challenge with enthusiasm and confidence Excellent communication skills, able to convey ideas insights and recommendations that is easy to understand as well as listen actively, picking up tasks and informationProven track record of success, demonstrating a can-do attitude, can work under pressure and still be able to remain focused&productive An existing Australian Defence Security Clearance or the ability to meet the application requirements.
