Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile rail project nestled in the Northern Suburbs, Acciona Rail (previously Coleman Rail) has a long-standing reputation as the leading rail and infrastructure contractor in , providing construction services for major rail projects Australia-wide.Our growth is substantial having recently been awarded a new intermodal rail hub project in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, the Somerton Intermodal Terminal. This is an exciting new $400m Design and Construct (D&C) project that will involve, groundworks, track renewals, heavy duty pavements, structures and signalling. Somerton Intermodal Terminal is a flagship project for the freight rail industry and will offer a location that services the longer train profiles proposed as part of the Federal Governments Inland Rail commitment. The company claims the new project, when completed, will be“Australia’s largest intermodal terminal” as well as be the most logical and cost-effective Melbourne end point for the Inland Rail project.We are looking for high performing Engineers across civil, rail, CSR, Track and Signalling, to be successful you will have proven delivery experience across a rail and/or Civil project. Required Qualifications and Experience Civil Degree (or similar) Relevant Delivery Experience on a Rail or Civil projectRelevant years of experience as per position in the construction engineering industry, in related disciplines such as rail and associated civil infrastructure Good quality communication skills, both written and verbal. Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle.
