About the Position

We are currently seeking a Qualified ECT & Diploma in Early childhood education and care to work at a Kindergarten who holds high-profile reputation for excellence in Early Childhood Education in the northern Sydney. The kindergarten provides a high quality, short- and long-day care programme offering child focused learning and observations. Kindergarten has three classrooms each with their own natural play space, accommodating three different age groups. Their handpicked staff are highly motivated and trained and carry dynamic personality with a professional demeanour, creating a nurturing environment for the children.

Your new role

This inspirational Kindergarten is looking to welcome a dynamic ECT & Diploma Educator to join a preschool room (5-6-year-old) As a thriving teacher & Educator you will collaborate with an experienced and passionate team to lead and support a high-quality education & care program which includes literacy, numeracy, communication, visual and performing arts, sciences of understanding society and principles of social justice and equity. Your role will be to champion and support a carefully thought-out, high-quality curriculum incorporating a challenging and well-paced pre-literacy and pre-numeracy programme.

What you'll need to succeed

                    

                      
• Bachelors of ECE & Diploma (early childhood education) approved by ACECQA
                      
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals.
                      
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with families, children, and other staff.
                      
• Working knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
                      
• The successful candidate will be a warm, flexible, and friendly person and have a collaborative approach to teaching.
                      
• Excellent social and communication skills.
                      
• Valid working with children's check and first aid desirable.
