Seeking music teachers ( on a casual and part-time employment basis ) to teach small group lessons to primary school students. Be part of a passionate organisation with a dedicated support team. Lessons conducted during the school day (with some after-hours). Training provided – knowledge, experience and enthusiasm are essential! Primary Music Institute is a leader in the field of co-curricular education programs for primary school children. With more than 20 years of experience and programs in schools across , PMI is passionate about providing opportunities for all students to experience the gift of music. Our teachers are provided with equipment, training, administrative support and ongoing professional development. Selection Criteria: We are now seeking part-time teachers who are available to start teaching in Term 2, 2023 with roles available in: To become a teacher with Primary Music Institute you will need: Passion for sharing the gift of music with children. Playing skills at least equivalent to AMEB Grade 5 on main instrument. Teaching experience is desirable, and the ideal candidate must have the ability to teach both keyboard AND guitar Long-term and exclusive commitment to this role. Flexibility to adjust to changing schedule on short notice. Demonstrated reliability (i.e. not missing lessons or late for lessons in any circumstances). The ability to relate well to children, parents and school staff. A current WWCC Part-time hours: 5-10 per week Expected Start Date: Term 2, 2023 Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Salary: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour Summary of role requirements: Looking for candidates available to work on weekdays 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role Working rights required for this role no -- Principals only.
