Your new role
We are seeking a teacher aide with experience supporting students with special needs for this contract until the end of the school year (with potential for permanency). This role can be offered either full time or part time. You will be responsible for supporting a small cohort of higher need students in both mainstream classroom context and in withdrawal settings. This position will operate across K-6 year groups and will commence with the start of term 2.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be:                    

                      
• Experienced in supporting students with special needs
                      
• Experience with students with Autism
                      
• Caring, kind, patient and collaborative
                      
• Support students with individual learning plans and life skills
                      
• Work effectively as a team, collaborating with special needs teachers, mainstream classroom teachers, and other support services engaged by the school.
                    

                    
Applicants must hold relevant experience or qualifications in educational support along with a WWCC to be eligible for this position.
