The Quoting Arborist role is a challenging but rewarding position requiring knowledge and experience with tree care, plant (PHC) and industry approved tree care practices as well as practical experience in estimating tree services. You must understand all the logistics required to successfully deliver a crew, and you must be able to guarantee a quality work product along with an excellent client experience. A successful quoting arborist has a strong work ethic and is a self-motivated who enjoys interacting with the public and our employees. They enjoy the challenge of selling trees. There is a possibility to grow into a bid manager role for the right person. About us Arborcraft tree services is a medium sized company that is growing into a multidivisional arboriculture services company. We offer Tree Transplanting, Tree removal, Tree pruning, Tree consulting etc. We are based in Clayton South. We are currently preparing to go for our first ISO audit and hope to have the accreditation shortly. Our core values are safe and sustainable, and we stand by them, this is the core of the company. We run a fully integrated management system that has the capability to be completely paperless. The successful candidate will be using this system every day. Responsibilities • Quoting both residential and commercial projects. • Supplying estimates using our job management system • Following up prospective clients through our CRM • Generating more business opportunities within the state. • Supporting the Operations Managers in executing and implementing the quoted by yourself. About you • Must understand tree work and can accurately estimate the amount of time and resources required to do a standard tree job. • A strong commitment to quality. • An understanding of customer . • A qualification in arboriculture or horticulture. • An ability to listen to the clients' problems and solve them. • Must be reliable. • Hold a valid driver licence. • Must be vaccinated. • Be able to obtain a Working with children's check. • Be well presented. Training On-going training will be provided to familiarize with our sales and operational procedures. Sales training can be provided. Professional development opportunities will be presented as part of the package if agreed upon. A company vehicle, phone, iPad and laptop are all part of the package. Relocation costs could be negotiated for the right person.
