House, 110 Johnston Street, Fitzroy VIC 3065 Expected start date: as soon as possibleNumber of Position: 1Contact email:  We, Decibel Architecture, are looking for a self-motivated Architect with specific skills and experience to join our team. The tasks include, but not limited to: Assisting collaboratively Architects and Directors in architectural works by assessing the type, style, and size of proposed buildings and amendments to existing structures. Studying project site through constructing site analysis comprising of environment sources, community data, existing infrastructure and community data. Assisting feasibility design approach through inspection data to ensure compliance with existing conditions, specifications and quality standards. Producing Architectural layout plans in Revit Models and AutoCAD including Layout plans, Elevations, Sections throughout Architectural Design Concept, Town Planning, Design Development and VCAT phases. Preparing detailed drawings for residential project with materials, finishes, schedule, sketches and specifications for use by builder. Applying regulations and codes of practice by integrating them into architectural working drawings and design responses. Editing and revising architectural drawings by getting data from professionals such as structural engineers, traffic engineers and other services consultants at design stage. Coordinating and interpreting work programs, project briefs, and feedback to develop architectural works for the Client's approval by incorporating structure, mechanical, and aesthetic elements into designs through preparing project documentation including sketches and scale drawings. Undertaking architecture application including detailed specifications, architectural plans, topography treatments, structural solutions, landscape plans, and interior designs for property developments. Producing Architectural 3D visualization, illustrative works, communication materials and graphics for professional presentations, reports and compilations.  Other requirements are: Work Eligibility: Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident) (preferred) Qualifications: at least a Masters Degree in Design (Architecture) and preferably a Bachelor of Regional and Urban Design (Architecture) either in or from another well recognized university from another country. Key Skills: Creative ability, Construction knowledge, Attention to detail, time management and ability to work under pressure, Modelling and IT model skills such as Revit, Spatial Awareness and Teamwork.  Previous experience: At least five years working as an Architect, both designing and documenting large projects valued at over $10 million Language: Conversant in English and one more language preferably Vietnamese
