Your new company
Due to an increase in work load, Hays Recruitment are seeking a Leading Hand Carpenter for a local builder in Geelong. To be successful in this role, you will take pride in your work and have a proven track record of leading residential projects.

Your new role
Are you looking to step away from the tools? As a Leading Hand Carpenter, you'll be reporting to the Director and managing domestic renovations and small builds. With a variety of work on domestic projects, a day to day could see you: Running renovations projects and new builds in Geelong and Surf Coast Managing a team of trades on site All aspects of general carpentry and ensuring quality finishes Some work will involve being hands on the tools, with overall site supervision Site safety including implementing OH&S management system Liaison with clients, trades and suppliers Ordering materials and tight liaisons with the estimator, clients and trades General Site administration and record keeping
What you'll need to succeed
Experienced in a Leading Hand or Supervisor Role Qualified Carpenter Reliable, hardworking, strong work ethic and be a team player Eye for detail, strong communication and organisational skills A full drivers licence, tools and reliable vehicle
