MMG RoseberyRosebery is an underground polymetallic base metal mine located in the township of Rosebery in , and is % owned by MMG Limited. With continuous production since 1936 Rosebery mine has current potential to extend life beyond 2028. This underground mine has continually attracted and produced world class professionals. Mine Engineer- ProductionWe are currently seeking a Mine Production Engineer to join our high performing team. Reporting to the Senior Engineer - Mine Production, this position is focused on providing support to the operations teams to deliver against physical plans and strategic objectives by providing timely and workable short term mine production schedules and drill and blast planning. This role is offered on an 8/6 residential roster in Rosebery or DIDOCompetencies, qualifications and skillsTertiary qualification in Mine EngineeringExperience in large scale open stoping underground mining operations. Sound understanding of underground drill and blast, mine production and development methods, mine scheduling and ventilation. Sound practical experience with mine planning software (Deswik preferred). Excellent communication and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to contribute and work effectively in a team. Key responsibilities will includeDesign drill and blast plans for production stopingDevelop Fill plansStope reconciliations and reviews of blasting performanceMaintaining working relationships with the Mine Operation Teams and Planning team. Ensuring operational management are adequately briefed on technical matters to make appropriate decisions in a timely mannerMaintaining and optimising documentation to outline operational processesContinually seeking to improve existing scheduling and operational performance.
