About the Position Sigma Aerospace is the leader in managed aircraft maintenance known for our award-winning team, supportive culture, and great results.e are an aircraft maintenance business which also recruits and deploys market leading contractors around the globe.hy join an agency when you can join the industry leader and award-winning aviation business.br>We are currently recruiting a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Mechanical in SA.r>ResponsibilitiesMechanical aircraft maintenance on various aircraft types.br>Main DutiesLine maintenance and heavy maintenance of aircraft that includes the following dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing f various aircraft systems including both airframe and engine.br> Assembling parts and subassemblies of aircraft structure.br> Conducting routine servicing of aircraft including component replacements and fluid servicing.br> Conducting routine pre-flight inspections of engines and propellors, aircraft mechanical systems and aircraft structure.br> Ensuring that all maintenance carried out is certified correctly, IAW CASA regulations.br> Replacement of mechanical components including hydraulic actuators, engines and components, landing gear and flight controls.br> Carry out post repair functional tests Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with technical documentation.br>Qualification/s RequiredExperience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft or similar type; Trade Certificate IV Mechanical and CASA Part 66 Licence Strong team player; Ability to follow supervisory direction; Excellent communication skills; Positive and proactive attitude essential; Passion for safe work practices; Valid work visa; Red ASIC card or ability to obtain; and, Current Driver's licence.br> Highly skilled in carrying out aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.br>Employment Experience Particular experience on this aircraft type, as licensed engineer.t least 3 years Mechanical experience on this aircraft type.br>Shift will be primarily mon-fri day shift with some early/late & night shifts possible.br>Salary Range $78,427. to $124,. per annum exclusive of superannuation.br>Salary Range will be dependent on restricted or unrestricted licence, number of type ratings and shift pattern.br>We only want the best attitude in our people and recruit accordingly.re you one up for the challenge- We are looking now and need good people now.re you in joining a world class organisation- It's now your move.e are wanting the best - so Please apply through this site.s today.r> no -- Principals only.
