The gun mode is a fixed pickup pattern, while the zoom mode adjust the pickup based on your zooming. This microphone is compatible with Sony camcorders with Multi-Interface Shoe. It can operate within 0 to 40°C. It also measures 28 x 57 x 106 mm and weighs about 45 grams.
