Overview:  Just Screw It is a full- licenced building company focusing on small to large sized renovations, maintenance, and repair projects for the residential housing market in Sydney’s Inner West, Eastern Suburbs & North Shore. We also have a full Painting Division that does all aspects of interior and exterior preparation & painting. We are looking for a Painter that’s excellent in re-paints and new works, with attention to detail and great communication skills. In this role, the focus will be to provide the best quality of services for any residential or commercial/industrial painting needs including renovations, corresponding to the client’s requirements and expectations. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in NSW. If you are willing to travel within Penrith and the Blue Mountains we would like to hear from you. Main tasks: Preparation work (wash, filler, plaster, sand, gap filler etc.), erecting ladders and scaffolding and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint, Selecting and preparing custom colours and shades of paint as per client specifications, Applying paint, varnish and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers, spray painting and other equipment as directed, Cleaning of equipment and work areas, Reporting to the employer on progress of job, and Collecting materials as and when required. Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience: Relevant Trade Certificate A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field; experience in commercial projects highly regarded Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge: Must be Reliable 5 days a week. 7am-3pm Must have attention to detail. Speak fluent English and great communication skills with other workers and clients. Have basic tools and car to transport to . Clean, Neat and Tidy. Pay is Every Friday and on-time.
